No. KA-21-J-9261 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which motorcycle capsized. As result one Salam rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 06/03/2011 at 1130 hrs at Niddody village Mangalore Taluk one Radhakrishna driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-4471 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-E-3124. As a result Ganesh Kotian (30) motorcycle rider and Shankara pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 06/03/2011 at 0930 hrs at Pacchanady cross Bondel Mangalore one driver of car bearing Reg. No. KL-13-V-889 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-V-5627. As a result Praveen D Souza motorcycle rider and Leesha Praveen D Souza pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.

On 06/02/2011 at 1430 hrs near bus stand at Nagoori Kankanady Mangalore one driver of Tanker lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-01-D-2095 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-EA-6258. As a result one Vasu M driver of said car sustained serious injuries and died on the spot.

Further lorry driver lost control over his vehicle due which the vehicle capsized. As a result Maruthi Omni car driver Aseem Irshad and Mohammed Ashbak who was traveling in the said Maruthi Omni car sustained grievous injuries. The unknown driver of lorry escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

On 28/02/2011 at 1350 hrs near Beeri junction at Kotekar village Mangalore Taluk one Bhimappa Krishnappa Madar driver of  KSRTC bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-F-2786 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner due which one Sundari (65) R/o who was traveling in the said bus was thrown out of the bus and sustained serious injuries and died on the spot. Further she succumbed to his injuries while on the way to hospital.

As a result one Factoric Roch (56) R/o Kadri Hill Mangalore rider of said scooter sustained grievous injuries.

On 28/02/2011 at 0950 hrs on SH-13 at Mijar village Mangalore Taluk one Padmanabha Shetty driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-6702 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Z-6828 driven by Pramukha Rai (35) R/o Mannagudde Mangalore. As a result car got damaged. No causality reported.

On 28/02/2011 at 0830 hrs at Thodankila Kallamundkoor village Mangalore Taluk one Somashekara driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-9279 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-EA-3710. As a result one Sachin (20) R/o Kallamundkoor village Mangalore Taluk rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries.

On 07/02/2011 at 0730 hrs one Jhanaki (72) R/o Hosabettu Surathkal Mangalore accidentally got serious burn injuries while lighting a kerosene lamp in her house and she was admitted to A.J. Hospital at Mangalore where she succumbed to her injuries while under treatment on 28/02/2011 at 0700 hrs.

·        A case of Man missing has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. One Walter Albert D Souza (79) who left the Little Sister of Poor Home at Bajjodi Mangalore on 26/02/2011 and did not return to the Little Sister of Poor Home thereafter. He has been found missing then.

·        A case of Girl missing has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 25/01/2011 one Vandana (20) D/o Gopala Poojary R/o Gurunagara 9th Block Katipalla village Mangalore Taluk went to work at Kottara Chowki Mangalore and did not return to her house thereafter. She has been found missing since.

·        A case of Man missing has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 16/02/2011 at 0630 hrs one Chandrahasa (48) R/o Adyaru Gutthu Adyar village Mangalore Taluk wenk to Mangalore and did not return to his house thereafter. He has been found missing since.
